Ampthill & District Good Neighbours have the following items that can be loaned to residents of Ampthill, Maulden and Millbrook:

Wheelchair

A wheelchair that can be loaned to anyone in our community for a short period of time.

Swivel Cushion

We have a couple of swivel cushions that can easy access from car seats that can be loaned to anyone in our community for a short period of time.

Whilst the loan of the above items is Free, we would appreciate a small donation. The Items will have to be collected.

British Red Cross Medical Equipment Loans

british Red Cross provide short-term loans of medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, for people with a disability or illness.

The medical equipment service helps people return to their own homes after illness or surgery, enables them to go on holiday with friends or family, and promotes independence. The main types of equipment provided include:

• wheelchairs
• backrests
• bath seats
• walking sticks and frames
• commodes, bedpans and urinals
